Case Study

Lianhua Lake

Project Overview:

Lianhua Lake is located in the Chaohu District of Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and is composed of seven small lakes with a total water area of 282,000 square meters and an average depth of 1.0 meter.

Issues:

  • The lake is severely eutrophic, with seasonal outbreaks of blue-green algae "blooms" in some areas.
  • Due to conditional limitations, it is not possible to implement rainwater and sewage separation in some areas. Some existing overflow outlets along the lake are retained, causing severe pollution during rainy days.
  • Rainwater outlets have problems with surface source pollution and misconnections.

Solution:

  • Precision pollution interception
  • Ecological construction
  • ntelligent drainage
