On October 10, 2024, the “Technical Standard for Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Urban Drainage Networks", issued by the China Society of Urban Studies (CSUS), officially came into effect, marking a significant step forward in the intelligent transformation of the drainage industry. Our company played a pivotal role in this milestone standard-setting process as a contributing editor, injecting strong momentum into the industry's shift toward smart solutions. 

The newly released standard covers multiple critical areas of drainage engineering, including precise regulations for data sensing and intelligent data applications in drainage networks, as well as guidelines for smart management and operations. It provides a comprehensive and detailed framework for the intelligent maintenance and functioning of urban drainage systems. The implementation of these standards will significantly enhance the efficiency and stability of drainage systems, supporting better urban water resource management and environmental protection. 

To date, our company has led the drafting of 3 standards and participated in the development of 7 standards in China, spanning industry, regional, and association-level specifications. These standards cover a wide range of aspects in drainage systems. Notably, over 10 additional industry and association technical standards—such as the “Technical Specification for Multi-Functional Pollution-Seperation Wells”, “Hydraulically Operated Bottom-Hinged Weir Gates”, and “Intelligent Ejectors”—are currently under development. These will further fill gaps in the industry and drive innovation in drainage equipment and technology. 

Beyond standard-setting, our company has been deeply involved in China’s efforts to combat black and odorous water bodies, sponge city construction, and drainage system efficiency improvements. We have contributed to the drafting of **more than 20 guidelines, specifications, and technical manuals**. These achievements not only demonstrate our technical expertise but also reflect our commitment to addressing urban water environment challenges. 

Amid the wave of intelligent transformation in urban drainage networks, our company’s strong technical foundation and innovative capabilities have positioned us as a leader in industry advancement. Moving forward, as more standards are implemented and developed, we will continue to deepen our expertise in the drainage sector, contributing to the creation of smarter, more efficient, and greener urban drainage systems—propelling the industry toward a sustainable and intelligent future.
